Kisspeptin-10 (C₆₃H₈₃N₁₇O₁₄) is a laboratory-synthesized decapeptide representing the bioactive segment of the KISS1 gene–derived peptide and consists of the sequence Tyr–Asn–Trp–Asn–Ser–Phe–Gly–Leu–Arg–Phe–NH₂. In experimental systems, it interacts with the GPR54 (KISS1R) receptor to initiate Gq-dependent intracellular signaling and influence gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) regulatory pathways. Owing to these properties, Kisspeptin-10 is commonly utilized as a research tool for studying neuroendocrine signaling and reproductive hormone regulation mechanisms.
Supplied in a 3 mL vial as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder requiring reconstitution with a laboratory diluent. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption.
